Survey Properties Overview

Overview

When designing a survey you would normally first script the questionnaire. Besides the script itself there are many additional settings that you can configure a survey with to determine its behavior when in the field. Most of those settings are configured through the Survey Properties.

The following guide will describe the meaning of each option in the Survey Properties.

Accept Multimedia

The Accept Multimedia option determines if you allow the capturing of Pictures, Sound and Video through the multimedia questions and/or add attachments to a survey. By default it is checked so attachments additions to a survey are allowed (through the multimedia questions or a manual attaching of a file to the survey through the Attach button on the device). As attachments added to a survey consume storage space you can decide to disallow this for a specific survey by un checking this option.
