GPS Functionality in STG

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space-based satellite navigation system that provides location and time information in all weather conditions, anywhere on or near the Earth where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites and is freely accessible to anyone with a GPS receiver.

The GPS system on STG automatically captures GPS data during conduction of interviews, as long as the device has GPS capabilities, GPS connectivity and is not indoors.
Internet connection is not mandatory for GPS data collection.

This how-to gathers together all relevant tutorials and information about GPS functionality in STG from our knowledge base.
